Daycare Delivery Program
The Albert Lea Public Library's Daycare Delivery Program is available to childcare centers and in-home daycares. It's a service to aid childcare providers to bring a variety of books and other materials into the lives of children. Here is what some of our current patrons say about the program, "I have children 12 hours a day and it is so wonderful to not have to run out and get books. With this program I don't have to read my personal books over and over, and the children are so excited to see what books are in each month's delivery bag." "My kids just love it! When the new books come it's like Christmas!" Each month the library staff chooses age- appropriate books according to the provider's profile which are delivered by volunteers the first full week of each month. The volunteers also pick up the previous month's books. If you are interested in this program, please call the Children's Room at 377-4356.
