How to Get a Library Card
A Free Library Card is the best way to take advantage of all the services and programs the Library has to offer. Think of it as your connection to ideas, information, inspiration and interaction.
If you live or own property in Minnesota, you can get a Free Library card. Just print out the appropriate application form, fill it out and bring it, along with your current Minnesota Driver's license or state ID. However, if you do not have a current above mentioned photo ID you will need to supply 2 bills with your current mailing address along with your expired/invalid photo ID. Get your Free Library card today and discover what we're all about. Remember, you must have your card with you when checking out materials, picking up reserved materials, or using the Internet.

Registration (You can fill-in, print and bring to the library with required I.D. or just print.)
- Child Registration Form (Ages 3-15) (You can fill-in, print and bring to the library with required I.D. or just print.
Children's applications (Ages 3-15) must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or guardian must have a card on file or provide a current Minnesota driver's license or state ID. If the parent/guardian does not have a current photo ID, they will need to present the expired driver’s license/ID and 2 bills/personal check or other acceptable forms that verify their current mailing address. If the parent/guardian has fines/fees in excess of $5.00 the issued card will be limited to books only. Internet access will be granted to the child for school related projects/assignments only.
Policies for Non-Residents
Reciprocal borrowing privileges are granted to all Minnesota residents. They need to show a current Minnesota ID and proof of address, such as a phone bill or utility bill.
Persons living outside of Minnesota must pay an annual, non-refundable, non-resident fee of $40.00.
